BACOLOD City – Charged with murder and attempted murder, a father and son were arrested n Barangay Cabadiangan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
The 56-year-old Jojie Tavera and his 31-year-old son John – all residents of the village – were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 2:40 p.m. on Aug. 17, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Walter Zorilla of the Regional Trial Court Branch 55 in Himamaylan City dated Aug. 3, 2020. The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Himamaylan City police station./PN
