ILOILO City – Three people from Barangay San Roque, Jaro district have been hospitalized.
Jose Singalivo, 46, and 22-year-old son Raphjoenes, and neighbor John Rib Hallador, 33, sustained multiple stab wounds, a police report showed.
In his house at around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Jose had a heated argument with a drunken Hallador. The latter then stabbed the former with a fan knife.
Raphjoenes tried to help his father but got wounded as well, the police report stated.
The Singalivo father and son were taken to the Iloilo Mission Hospital while Hallador was brought to the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
A fan knife, more or less 14 inches long, was recovered from the crime scene.
The Jaro police station learned about the wounded from the West Visayas State University Medical Center at around 8:35 p.m.
The wounded remained confined in the hospitals as of this writing./PN
