ANTIQUE – A heated argument led to the stabbing of father and son around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 24, in Barangay Maradiona, Belison town.
Alias “Amad,” 49, sustained a stab on his stomach, while his 18-year-old son alias “John” was stabbed on his body.
The suspect was identified as alias “James,” 50, and Amad’s elder brother.
Police Senior Master Sergeant Ian Garnet Flores, assistant investigator of the Belison Municipal Police Station (MPS), said Amad was having a drinking binge with his friends when inebriated James passed by.
The brothers talked but later had an argument that resulted to the stabbing incident.
Flores said John was about to help his father but was also stabbed by the suspect.
Officers of the Belison MPS arrested the suspect.
He would be facing a charge of frustrated homicide./PN
