TAPAZ, Capiz – A 55-year-old father who celebrated Father’s Day on Sunday died.
of Barangay Candelaria drowned at Marugo Lake in Barangay San Antonio.
The Galo family went to the lake past 1 p.m. on June 20 to celebrate, police said. They went boating.
The boat capsized.
Galo did not know how to swim.
A search and rescue operation was conducted and Galo was found. He was officially declared dead at the Tapaz District Hospital./PN
