MANILA – Philippine Airlines on Monday reminded passengers to arrive at the airport early for their Holy Week flights as heavy traffic is expected in roads surrounding the terminals.

Passengers with overseas flights are advised to be at the airport at least 3.5 hours before departure as a large volume of passengers is anticipated from April 15 to April 21, PAL said in an advisory.

Domestic passengers are advised to arrive at least 2.5 hours before their flight, the flag carrier said.

“Please be advised that due to heavy traffic around NAIA’s four terminals, you must allocate more time in going to the airport to ensure that you will make it in time for your flight,” PAL said.

Travelers can check-in via the website or mobile app where flight status and terminal assignments will also be available, the airline said.

PAL advised passengers to bring a valid ID, visa and passport with at least 6 months validity to avoid inconvenience. (ABS-CBN News)
