Palace ‘humbled’ by Filipinos’ rating on gov’t COVID response

MANILA – Malacañang is “humbled” with Filipinos’ “positive opinion” on President Rodrigo Duterte administration’s response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

In Thursday’s virtual press conference, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the Pulse Asia survey result further inspired the government to work harder in fighting the current health crisis.

Based on the survey conducted by Pulse Asia from Sept. 14 to 20, 84 percent of Filipinos approve of the government’s action to curb the spread of COVID-19 and provide assistance to pandemic-hit workers and businesses.

Pulse Asia said the survey is based on a sample of 1,200 representative adults 18 years old and above and has a ± 2.8 percent margin of error at 95 percent confidence level./PN
