Panaad Park all set for ‘MassKara sa Panaad’

BACOLOD City – The Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan here is all set for the “1st MassKara sa Panaad” from Oct. 10 to 16.

Negros Occidental provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said they will give Bacolodnons, Negrenses and tourists a good show.

All 31 towns and cities in the province, including Bacolod City, will open their respective pavilions at the park showcasing the best they can offer.

Also, congressional districts will showcase festival dances of the towns and cities, and celebrities from Manila will be holding shows, Diaz added.

A food festival showcasing local delicacies and culinary arts will also be held.

In the aspect of security, the tourism officers of each local government unit are already finalizing their plans with the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, Bacolod City Police Office, and the Philippine Army’s 303rd Infantry Brigade, said  Diaz.

The Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO), meanwhile, will oversee the traffic flow entering the park, while the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) will be responsible for quick response should any fire or medical emergency arise.

“Logistical meetings will also be conducted for all the needs, including the initial agreement and programs, until a detailed program of activities will be finalized,” Diaz added./PN
