ANTIQUE – Centenarial Salvacion A. Maglantay of Barangay Tingib, Pandan, Antique received a P100,000 tax-free cash benefit and a letter of felicitation from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through DSWD Provincial Office II, Ms. Doyien C. Layson, and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) officer Mrs. Mary Ann A. Samulde delivered the incentive and letter to Maglantay’s house on Monday, March 13.

Also present were Mayor Tomas U. Estoperez, Jr., and Sangguniang Bayan Member Patria F. Candari.

Republic Act 10868 (Centenarians Act of 2016) mandates that Filipinos who reach the age of 100, whether residing in the Philippines or abroad, shall be honored with:

* a letter of felicitation from the President of the Philippines congratulating the celebrator for his or her longevity;

* a cash gift of P100,000./PN
