Dionilo P. Cagape, restaurant owner, had brilliantly conjured the idea up wherein Parekoy is ‘that’ mix of comfort and class. Its facade and interior also scream sophistication. Apart from this, there’s a real warmth in its services and accommodation.
As the COVID-19 pandemic took over communities, restaurants have also been cautious and vigilant to curb the further spread of the virus.
Originally, the resto can accommodate up to 150 to 200 persons. Now, since social distancing must be enforced, Parekoy limits its number of customers to 44.

“This taste is really perfect for balikbayans,” manager Fredzel Gulilao told Panay News.
“It’s more of lutong-bahay but with a modern touch,” he added.
Their doors are also open for meetings and parties, among others.

Workforce
The resto is composed of 14 employees – a competent team – from its admin to the chefs and servers.
According to Gulilao, Parekoy’s workforce have been trained very well, and pretty obvious, they’re a bunch of approachable pals!
