ILOILO City – A senior citizen was hospitalized. A neighbor hacked him in Barangay Pagaypay, Passi City.
Juanito Porras, 65, sustained a wound on his left hand. He was rushed to the Passi City District Hospital on Monday night.
Police identified the suspect as 32-year-old Emerson Arca.
The hacking happened around 8 p.m. at Porras’ house.
Prior to the attack, Porras and Arca had an argument, according to the police.
Arca fled after hacking Porras. As of this writing, his whereabouts were unknown.
Police said Arca faces a frustrated homicide charge./PN
