ILOILO City – A resident of the component city of Passi in Iloilo province was found dead. He was believed to have drowned.
Residents discovered the body of Apolinario Puniel at the river in Barangay Gemat-y, Passi City at around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a police report showed.
From what police investigators have gathered, the 59-year-old resident of Barangay Gines Viejo, Passi City was suffering from a mental illness.
Investigators learned from witnesses that Puniel was last seen leaving their house on Tuesday./PN
