ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 10 most wanted person in the police station of Passi City.
Ernesto Cañete was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant in Barangay Sablogon, Passi City, a police report showed.
The 53-year-old resident of the city’s Barangay Salngan faces a homicide charge.
Judge Vicente Go of the Regional Trial Court Branch 68 ordered Cañete’s arrest around 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
The suspect was taken to the Passi City police station here he was detained.
A P40,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
