MANILA – Fugitive Pastor Apollo Quiboloy has left the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound in Davao City in March, his legal counsel said on Monday.

According to Atty. Israelito Torreon, he did not have any personal communication with the wanted televangelist since he departed the compound.

Through their (PNP) pronouncement klaro na wala si Quiboloy dyan,” Torreon said in an interview with TeleRadyo Serbisyo on Monday.

Torreon added that he has repeatedly told this to the Philippine National Police officers conducting operation inside the KOJC Compound, but they refused to believe him.

Torreon’s statement came after Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio said on Sunday that she believed that Quiboloy had slipped past authorities while the Senate was conducting its investigation.

Meanwhile, police insisted that Quiboloy is still hiding inside the KOJC Compound, based on their classified information.

Police have been searching for Quiboloy, who is facing abuse and human trafficking charges in two different courts, inside the KOJC compound for the past 10 days./PN
