December 6, 2022 (Manila, PHILIPPINES) – Terence Calatrava took his Oath of Office as Presidential Assistant for the Visayas before Presidential Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Tuesday, December 6, at the Malacañang Palace.
As Presidential Assistant, he will represent the President in the three Visayan regions 6, 7 and 8, and liaise and coordinate with the different government agencies to ensure the effective and prompt delivery of services amongst local government units (LGU) and their constituents.
Usec. Calatrava hails from Cebu. Prior to his appointment as PAV, he was a businessman who was no stranger to public service, as he was the regional director of Tingog Party List.
Usec. Calatrava will hold office in Cebu, Cebu being the center of the Visayas. He is committed to acting on the directives of the President, implementing the President’s projects and plans for the country, and assisting in bringing the Filipino people closer to the President.
