ILOILO – The Municipality of Pavia, Iloilo has been cited as the first local government unit in Panay Island to have an operational Electronic – Business One-Stop Shop (E-Boss).
An E-Boss is a single online portal that allows clients to access all necessary services and information for business registration, and electronic issuance of pertinent documents.
The municipal government set up the E-Boss in line with Republic Act 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law – the first of its kind in the island of Panay.
Recognizing this feat, the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) led by Secretary Ernesto Perez awarded the Municipality of Pavia with a Certificate of Commendation.
On hand to receive the award yesterday, June 26, at Robinsons Place Pavia, was Mayor Laurence Anthony Gorriceta, Vice Mayor Edsel Gerochi and the members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Pavia./PN
