ILOILO City – A man was accused of threatening to shoot his live-in partner in Barangay Ungka 1, Pavia, Iloilo.
Leo John Espinosa, a resident of the village, was arrested yesterday.
Remelyn Alberto, 31, told the police that Espinosa threatened to shoot her using a .45-caliber pistol.
The incident happened at around 8 a.m. It was not immediately clear what circumstances led to it.
Responding policemen of Pavia seized from Espinosa the firearm loaded with two live bullets.
Charges for grave threat and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act may be filed against the suspect, police said./PN
