ILOILO City – An illegal drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Jibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo led to the arrest of a 29-year-old resident.
Joshua Quintinita, who worked at a tire vulcanizing shop, yielded two plastic packs of suspected shabu weighing half a gram and with an estimated market value of P2,500.
Officers from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6, Pavia police station and the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit staged the operation at around 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 21.
Quintinita was detained at the PDEA Region 6 custodial facility.
He faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
