ILOILO City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balabag, Pavia, Iloilo.
Officers of the Pavia municipal police station staged the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of resident Jeffery Surmieda around 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
An undercover cop initially bought from Surmieda a sachet of suspected shabu.
At least 10 more sachets of suspected illegal drugs were seized during his apprehension.
The suspect was also tagged in recent burglary incidents in nearby villages, Balabag village head Ariel Gerada told Panay News.
The suspect was taken to the municipal police station for further investigation and filing of the charges./PN
