MANILA – Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters suffered yet another blow in the 2019 Honda PBA Commissioner’s Cup with Bacolodnon guard Luis Alfonso Revilla out indefinitely for the team.

Fuel Masters head coach Francisco Luis Alas said there was no timetable in the return of the Bacolod City native after fracturing his foot in their previous match against the Alaska Aces.

“Si LA, na-fracture paa last game,” Alas said in a post-match interview.

The injury of the former De La Salle University Green Archers guard was a huge blow for the Fuel Masters, which is still reeling from the absence of Jaypee Mendoza, who recently went under the knife.

Still missing for the Fuel Masters was veteran forward Calvin Abueva, who was slapped with an indefinite suspension by PBA Commissioner’s Office for his on and off court antics.

John Christopher Intal was still not fully healthy after suffering fracture in his hand back in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup, while Jason Perkins was also playing hurt with shoulder injury.

The Fuel Masters, which finished on top of the standings after the Philippine Cup elimination round, have been struggling in this mid-season joust and currently has 2-4 card./PN
