MANILA – Continuous rains in Metro Manila prompted the PBA to postpone Game 3 of the Commissioner’s Cup semifinal series between San Miguel Beermen and Alaska Aces on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The match will be held on Friday evening at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City instead, a PBA advisory stated.
“Semis Game 3 of Alaska Aces vs San Miguel Beermen today has been postponed due to potential severe weather conditions,” PBA said. “Game 3 is set on Friday, June 20, 7 p.m. at Ynares, Antipolo.”
On Tuesday for the same reason PBA also cancelled Game 2 of the semifinal series between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Kings and Rain or Shine Elasto Painters that night, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The Kings-Painters game was rescheduled to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Beermen, the defending champion, is just a win away from returning to the Finals after handily beating Aces in the first two games of their semifinal series./PN
