THE Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), represented by Board Director Sandra M. Cam, extended help to 2,265 earthquake victims in the province of Masbate on August 24, 2020.

A total of 2,265 relief packs were distributed to the four municipalities of the province that were badly hit by the August 18, 2020 earthquake: Palanas (600 households), Cataingan (665 households), Esperanza (400 households), and Pio V. Corpuz (600 households).

Cam, in coordination with concurrent PCSO Masbate Branch Manager Nelly Loyola, visited the said municipalities with a truck loaded with relief packs, with each pack consisting of 10 kilos of rice, sardines, instant noodles, corned beef, meat loaf, biscuits, and instant coffee.

PCSO is also preparing a calamity assistance to the municipalities affected by the earthquake./PN
