Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office Vice Chairperson and General Manager Royina Marzan Garma turns-over the check worth P1B from its Charity Fund to the Department of Finance thru the Bureau of Treasury on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the PCSO Conservatory Ground Floor.
In a letter dated April 7, 2021, The Department of Finance requested additional dividends from PCSO retained earnings in which the budget was placed under the Charity Fund 2019. The P1B turned over today is on top of the Agency’s remittance in the amount of P2,219,816,648.06 in compliance to Republic Act 7656 of 2019 earnings net of tax, making the total PCSO dividend remittance to P3.2B for CY 2019.
GM Garma together with AGM for Management Services Sector, Arnel N. Casas and Maria Cristina Gregorio, Manager Accounting Department, led the ceremonial turnover to Ms. Purita Belgica, Collecting Officers from the Bureau of Treasury.
