ILOILO City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA-6) in Region 6 is looking for 300 more agents to be assigned in the different provinces.
They must pass the examination and training first, according to Director Alex Tablate of PDEA-6.
Applications can be done online, he said.
Meanwhile, 194 more agent-trainees were expected to join the PDEA organization, 65 of which underwent the neuropsychological exam (NPE) last week.
Applicants who will successfully pass the NPE will proceed to the physical and dental examinations, followed by the physical fitness test and panel interview.
Tablate said those who will pass the exam and interview would be sent to the PDEA Academy in the national office for training and ranking.
“Ang PDEA national office ang magra-rank sa kanila unlike sa other government forces na pwede mag-hire sa local level,” Tablate told Panay News.
In the academy, they would be trained in terms of investigation, operations, how to draft in filing the case in court, and gun handling, he added./PN
