SAN JOSE, Antique – In line with its nationwide information dissemination campaign against illegal drugs, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Antique recently distributed “PDEA Comics” to the public.
PDEA-Antique gave free comics to vendors and riding public of Sibalom Terminal and Public Market last May 31 as part of their information drive to battle drug addiction in the province.
“PDEA Comics” is the agency’s first Drug Abuse Prevention and Education comics aimed at raising public awareness on the harmful effects of illegal drugs and how to prevent their abuse through images combined with texts.
It has several storylines that depicts life stories on how people got hooked on illegal drugs and how they overcame their addiction. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
