GUIMARAS – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Guimaras and the Jordan Municipal Police Station conducted a “greyhound operation” or shakedown and drug testing at the Jordan District Jail in Barangay Alaguisoc, Jordan.

District jail warden Senior Jail Officer IV Sixto P. Bedia Jr. supervised the search and seizure inside the facility on Feb. 17.

A total of 76 jail personnel and 19 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) were also subjected to a drug test.

No contraband or illegal drugs were found, and all tested negative for drug use.

The greyhound operation aimed to ensure the safety and security of the PDLs./PN
