PDEA, RDEU high-value drug targets rise to 63

ILOILO City – The high-value targets of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) of the Police Regional Office 6 ballooned to 63.

According RDEU chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, they have 10 targets each in Iloilo City, Iloilo province, Bacolod City, and Negros Occidental; nine in Antique; five each in Aklan and Capiz; and four in Guimaras.

“Ang aton data naga-change kay kis-a may madakpan tapos may malutaw naman,” said Darroca.

PDEA and RDEU are also monitoring drug groups – three in Bacolod City and two in Negros Occidental.

“We are concentrating in Bacolod City and in Negros Occidental kay didto ang daku nga source sang Panay area,” Darroca said.

On the other hand, PDEA director Alex Tablate said among the 63 targets are members of the five drug groups being monitored.

“We are thankful sa mga arrested street-level drug pusher for giving us information,” Tablate said./PN
