AKLAN – All persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) and personnel at the Aklan District Jail in Barangay Nalook, Kalibo, who took drug tests yesterday, passed.

A total of 48 Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel and 42 PDLs (40 males and two females) took the random drug test.

Further, no contraband was found during the search and seizure operation.

The random drug test and greyhound operation was led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Aklan Provincial Office, headed by Intelligence Officer III Ricardo Palapar, under the direct supervision of Intelligence Agent V Nicolas C. Gomez and the PDEA K9 Unit.

Also present to witness the operation were the Kalibo Municipal Police Station and Aklan District Jail Wardens, Jail Inspector Rolyn T. Malolos (Male Dorm), and Jail Inspector Ma. Edelia P. Fantilaga (Female Dorm)./PN
