Pedicab driver shot dead in La Paz

ILOILO City – A 37-year-old pedicab driver was shot by a motorcycle-riding gunman in Barangay San Nicolas, La Paz around 2:50 a.m. yesterday, July 18.

Arturo Gabuan Pabilona, single and a resident of the place, was declared “dead on arrival” at the hospital.

Pabilona was in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council list and had been accused of theft and alarm and scandal, according to Barangay Kagawad Rolen Balajadia.

Three empty shells and one live round of a .45 caliber were recovered.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his chest and abdomen.
