ILOILO City – A physical injury charge may be slapped against a resident of Barangay Nabitasan, La Paz district.
The 39-year-old pedicab driver Eddon Barbecho was accused of stabbing fellow pedicab driver Fernando Lopez, 48.
A heated argument ensued between the two at around 4:30 p.m. on Friday in Barangay Bantud, La Paz, a police report stated.
Barbecho then came at Lopez, stabbing him on the right side of his face with a stick, police said, citing witnesses.
Lopez, a resident of Barangay Sooc, Mandurriao, was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
