ILOILO City – A trisikad driver got into a fight with a fellow trisikad driver.
The 24-year-old Roggie Laberes of Barangay San Isidro, Jaro district sustained injuries on the head and other parts of the body, a police report showed.
Laberes complained to the police that Melvin “Hapon” Acta, 27, of Barangay Cubay, Jaro attacked him first.
Laberes said he was waiting for a passenger at around 8 p.m. on May 29 in Barangay Cubay when Acta arrived and told him, “Agi ka! Pagwaa buli (You faggot! Show your ass).”
He replied, “Mga makawat! Garahe na ’to (You are thief. Go home, park you pedicab),” Laberes said.
Acta got irked and punched Laberes on the head. Grappling ensued between them, the police report stated.
Acta then pushed him to a trisikad that caused him his wounds, Laberes told the police.
Police advised him to get himself checked at the West Visayas State University Medical Center. (March Gernine Aguacito, Intern/PN)
