ROXAS City – Residents of Barangay Libas here were inconvenienced by the delayed completion of a road project.
Mayor Ronnie Dadivas called out the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Region 6 and the project contractor.
“Gin istorya ko ang DPWH nga tagaan ini sang pagtamod sa labing madali nga panahon kay tuman ka daku na ang perwisyo sini sa pumoluyo. Sukton ang dapat manabat kag may obligasyon agud mapadasig ang konstruksyon kag indi pagpa-awat-awatan,” said Dadivas.
He stressed that the contractor must follow the supposed period of completion.
“Indi pwede nga basta nalang bungkalon kag bay-an kag kon san-o naman balikan,” he said.
Dadivas also said DPWH-6 must monitor and ensure that the implementation of a project is on track.
“Ginalauman ko nga maga-coordinate ang ahensya sa city government kutob sa mga proyekto nga ginapatuman nila sa Roxas City agud upod kami magplano kay kita ang maka determinar kon ini nagasantu sa kinahanglanon sang pumoluyo,” he added./PN
