ROXAS City – Six months after the groundwork kicked off, the redevelopment of the People’s Park in Barangay Baybay here is now taking shape.

This development excites the people of Roxas City, who could not help but thank the city government.

“I am very excited. This park is on an international level. Mayor Ronnie Dadivas has been a blessing,” netizen Alex Dela Cruz said in Hiligaynon through a social media post sharing the latest photos of the ongoing park redevelopment.

“Wow. Thank you, mayor, for continuously beautifying Roxas. May God bless you and your family,” another social media user, Aileen Estopar Leones, expressed.

Meanwhile, some netizens described the landmark project as the next travel destination in the city and the whole of Capiz province.

“I can’t help but be excited for this to be completed, and one of our dreams for Roxas will come true,” Dadivas, who recently inspected the site, shared in Hiligaynon through his Facebook page.

The redevelopment of the People’s Park will come with the construction of an amphitheater, food stalls, kiosks, a playground, world-class and latest lighting technology, sound installations, and a fountain, among others./PN
