PERNILLA Sjoö, a Swedish woman believed to be the third-party in the alleged split of Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo, broke her silence, as she appealed to the public to be “kinder.”
Sjoö made headlines after posting a photo of herself with Alipayo getting matching “224” tattoos which supposedly meant “Today, Tomorrow, Forever”. Eigenmann then made several posts about being “stabbed” during the Year of the Snake, although she didn’t address the Swedish woman in particular.
In a follow-up Instagram Story, the actress claimed that Alipayo was not unfaithful to her, although she accused the woman of allegedly betraying her.
This led to Sjoö addressing the issue on her Instagram account on Saturday, February 8, as she stressed that she’s “still a human” who experiences pain. She has set her account to private, as of this writing.
“I just don’t understand why some people have so much hate in their minds and bodies. I hope that if you ever make a hurtful comment, you can still sleep peacefully at night and smile knowing you’ve caused someone pain. I’m still human din naman. I still feel hurt, and when it’s too much, it cuts deep,” she said.
Sjoö likewise appealed to the public to be “kinder to one another” while lamenting that she is being judged without them “knowing the whole story.”
“I hope you never become the reason someone cries themselves to sleep or questions their worth — asking why they weren’t good enough,” she said.
“We’re all going through something. Can we at least try to be kinder to one another naman? If you will be kind to me, and I assure you that I’ll be kinder to you, never judge someone without knowing the whole story. You may think you understand, but you don’t,” she added.
While the state of Eigenmann and Alipayo’s relationship remains unknown, the latter said on his Instagram Story that the public can call him a “cheater and ugly” person. He also penned several cryptic remarks in his native Surigaonon language.
“Kon ono may galing ijo mga nabasahan koman tinood jaon. Waya nay tagoay kay mas malisod,” he said, which means “If what you read is true, then there’s no more hiding because it can be more complicated” in English.
“Kilaya man kamo kun ono ako na pagka tawo. So segoro kilaya sab kamo kon ono cja. Dili na nato taason an tanan (You know what kind of person I am, so you probably know who he/she is too. Let’s not prolong this any further),” he continued.
Eigenmann and Alipayo have been engaged since 2020, and they have two children, Lilo and Koa.
They were supposed to get married sometime in 2024, however, their wedding plans were put on hold following the death of Eigenmann’s mother, screen veteran Jaclyn Jose. (Hannah Mallorca © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
