ILOILO City – A 68-year-old employer accused his personal assistant of stealing his money.
Rodulfo Gumban of Zone 3, Barangay Boulevard, Molo district hauled 31-year-old Adrian Lopez to the police station over the weekend.
He claimed that P50,000 of the P400,000 he kept in a travelling bag was missing even though it had a padlock.
Gumban said he asked Lopez about it but the latter denied stealing the money.
When he bodily searched Lopez, however, said Gumban, he found a duplicate key of the travelling bag./PN
