MANILA – Macau Black Bears continued its mastery of San Miguel-Alab Pilipinas for a 114-84 victory in the 2018-2019 ASEAN Basketball League on Friday night at the Foshan International Sports and Cultural Center in Macau.

With the victory, the four-game season series between the defending champions Alab Pilipinas and Black Bears ended up at 2-2 with both teams notching the victory on their home court.
It was a tight first half for both teams with the Philippines on top 51-45 at the half but the Black Bears relied on McKinney in the third period to surge ahead at 83-65 heading into the fourth.
The Black Bears did not give the Philippine side an opportunity to catch up in the fourth as Spencer unloaded 14 of his total output to give his squad its biggest lead at 30 points.
Peter John Ramos finished with 24 points and nine rebounds, while Joshua Urbiztondo and Bobby Ray Parks Jr. added 16 and 12 points, respectively, for the defending champions Alab, which slumped to 18-6 card.
The Philippine side were handicapped for the second straight game as it missed the services of Renaldo Balkman (concussion), Lawrence Domingo (slight right MCL tear), and Brandon Rosser (right knee).
However, Alab needs to quickly bounce back as they will be back in action tonight against the second running Formosa Dreamers, which defeated the Philippine squad twice in their past three meetings./PN
