BACOLOD City – A 65-year-old pharmacist was killed in a hit-and-run, police said.
Elizabet Dizon, a resident of this city, was hit by a red Toyota Innova on Tuesday morning while crossing a pedestrian lane in front of the Bacolod South General Hospital on Araneta Street, Barangay Pahanocoy.
The driver of the vehicle was a 25-year-old man, police said.
The man surrendered after the incident. The police refused to reveal his identity./PN
