A DUBAI-based luxury magazine called “Xpedition” named Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach as Woman of the Year. But the latest addition to her ever-growing list of recognitions received mixed reactions from fans.
According to Pia, she feels hurt whenever someone would tell her that she didn’t do anything to deserve the award given to her.
“I noticed a few bashers questioning why I was given this award, also saying that I don’t deserve it,” she stated.
She added: “I usually don’t like answering them but I have to admit, nahuhurt ako ‘pag sinasabing ‘wala ka namang ginawa.’”
Meanwhile, fellow beauty queen Katarina Rodriguez came to Pia’s defense, writing: “You also supported @savethechildrenph in their Save with Stories and campaign, volunteering your time and platform. And you also helped raise funds for their typhoon relief programs.” (Push)
