CAPIZ – A beauty from Pilar town was crowned Mutya sang Capiz 2023.
Fervet Marie Shane Degala bested 17 other candidates.
She also took home several special and sponsors’ awards.
Mutya sang Capiz is one of the highlights of this year’s Capizatahan 2023.
Miss Sigma Alexa Lei Mediola was adjudged first runner-up, while Miss Dao Cheri Angel Flejoles got the second runner-up spot and claimed the Best in Gown award.
Miss Panay Aries Bolina was third runner-up and Best in Interview, while Miss Sapi-an Kassandra Aranzado was fourth runner-up.
Other candidates who bagged special awards were Miss Roxas City for Best in Swimsuit, Miss Mambusao for Miss Photogenic, Miss President Roxas for Miss Friendship, and Miss Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Capiz and Miss Sangguniang Kabataan Federation of Roxas City both won the Miss Personality award.
The coronation night was made more special with the presence of special guests such as Miss Tourism International 2022 Cyrille Payumo, actors Wilbert Ross and Edgar Allan Guzman, and famous Ilonggo musician Clyde Ortencio who serenaded the candidates.
