ILOILO City – The No. 10 most wanted person in Pilar, Capiz has been arrested.
From his house in Barangay Santa Fe, Pilar, the 49-year-old Welfredo Lopez was taken to the municipal police station yesterday morning.
Policemen served Lopez’s arrest warrant around 4:30 a.m.
The suspect was charged with frustrated murder. Judge Ignacio Alajar of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 18 in Roxas City issued the arrest warrant on Dec. 11, 2015 yet.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Lopez was able to post bail that the court set at P200 thousand for his temporary liberty./PN
