PILAR, Capiz – A man charged with three counts of rape was arrested over the weekend here.
Sony Lachica Fuentes was a 45-year-old resident of Barangay Cayus. He was served with an arrest warrant by the police in Barangay Natividad.
Presiding Judge Byron San Pedro of the Regional Trial Court, National Capital Region (Branch 15) in Taguig City issued the arrest warrant on Aug. 10, 2020 yet.
The court did not recommend a bail bond for two rape cases while for the third case, a P200,000 bail was recommended for Fuentes’ temporary liberty.
Fuente was detained at the Pilar municipal police station./PN
