ILOILO City – A 47-year-old man was apprehended in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Yulo-Arroyo, City Proper Proper district on Monday night, November 11.
Alias “Jurasic,” a resident of Barangay West Timawa, Molo district was an alleged pimp.
Officers of the Iloilo City Police Station (ICPS) 1 seized approximately 70 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P470,000 from the suspect.
In an interview with Captain Roque Gimeno III, chief of ICPS1, the suspect’s usual clientele included sex workers, drivers and construction workers within the city.
Gimeno added that the suspect had been previously imprisoned twice for drug-related offenses.
The suspect is currently detained at ICPS 1. He will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
