ILOILO City – Their boss reported to the police three employees of a pizza store in a mall in Barangay Tagbac, Jaro district.
Emerita Magno, 36, operation manager of El Bonito’s Pizza at CityMall, claimed that she discovered they had thousands of pesos worth of sales shortage during a surprise audit and inventory, a police report showed.
Magno told the police Jennalyn Coloso, 37, of Barangay Muelle Loney, City Proper had a sales shortage of P12,780.
On the other hand, Wilmie Galicia, 24, a Romblon native temporarily residing in Barangay San Antonio, Molo, had P51,052 worth of sales shortage, stated the police report.
In addition, store coordinator Edcel Fernando, 23, another Romblon native temporarily staying in the same village, had a sales shortage of P92,493.55, Magno claimed.
The employees cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Magno had these information recorded at the Jaro police station at around 8:35 p.m. on March 14.
It was not immediately clear as of press time where the money went or where the employees currently were./PN
