Mayor Jerry Treñas of Iloilo City issued an executive order containing general guidelines as the metro returns to modified general community quarantine (MGCQ).

HERE’S EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW:

What activities/industries are prohibited?

a. Holding of traditional cockfighting and operation of cockpits;
b. Beerhouses and similar establishments whose primary business is serving of alcoholic drinks (e.g. nightclubs, pubs, and other similar establishments); and
c. Children’s amusement industries (e.g. playrooms, rides, and other similar establishments).

What activities are allowed to operate at 50% capacity?
a. Hotels and other accommodation establishments provided that they have been accredited and allowed to operate by the Department of Tourism;
b. Establishments offering personal care services and aesthetic procedures and services (including full body massage);
c. Gyms and fitness studios;
d. Testing and tutorial services;
e. Review centers;
f. Internet cafes, provided that the computer and internet services will be used strictly for educational purposes or for work only;
g. Drive-in cinemas;
h. Pet grooming services;
i. Language driving, dance/acting/voice schools;
j. Entertainment industries (e.g. traditional cinemas, theaters, and like businesses);
k. Libraries, archives, museums and cultural centers;
I. Tourist destinations (e.g. water parks, beaches, resorts, and like businesses);
m. Travel agencies, tour operators, reservation services and related activities;
n. Tattoo and body piercing; and
o. Live events, subject to DOT guidelines on meetings, incentives, conventions, exhibitions and business events

What activities are allowed to operate at 75% capacity?

a. Dine-in services for dining establishments, restaurants, and food establishments; and
b. Barbershops and salons.

What individual and group outdoor exercises are allowed?

*Non-contact sports (such as golf, tennis, table tennis, swimming and the like)

Note: Public exercise parks, such as Esplanade shall be open for the public.

Curfew

10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
(Exemptions: those who work in BPOs / KPOs, warehouses and logistics and similar businesses, ports, arrastre, food manufacturing, storage and preservation, hospitals, media, and other similar business or occupations)

Consumption and Selling of liquor

* Selling and dispensing of liquor prohibited after 6 p.m.
* Public consumption prohibited after 8 p.m.
