BACOLOD City – The police are eyeing love triangle as the motive behind the shooting incident on Saturday in Sitio Napilihan, Barangay Quintin Remo, Moises Padilla town.
Investigation disclosed that an unidentified suspect shot Narciso Lapeza, 35, and abducted the latter’s wife, Glorybe, 33.
Lapeza sustained gunshot wounds on his hand and foot, and is currently recuperating in the hospital, police said.
According to Police Senior Inspector Allan Reloj, the victim’s wife was contacted by a relative but the former did not disclose her exact location.
