ILOILO City – A man was arrested in Barangay Apologista, Sara, Iloilo.
Police said they received information that Leandro Atis, 31, allegedly had firearms.
The suspect was caught around 10 a.m. on July 12.
Two unlicensed guns – .45 pistol and .38 revolver – with ammunition were recovered from his possession, a police report showed.
Atis was detained at the Sara police station. He would be charged with violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
