BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Balintawak, Escalante City, Negros Occidental was arrested by policemen.
Maricel Alcomendras, 35, was served with an arrest warrant in her house at about 8 p.m. on May 23. She had been charged with four counts of estafa.
The arrest warrant was issued by Judge Leonardo Facoltad of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 69, on April 7, 2022 yet.
From her house, Alcomendras was taken to the Escalante police station.
Police said the court recommended a bail bond of P20,000 for each count of the estafa charge filed against the suspect./PN
