ILOILO City – Policemen in Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo apprehended a woman soliciting bets for an illegal numbers game in Barangay Tubungan.
Around 5:45 p.m. on April 6, Ma. Edralyn Doctora was detained at the municipal police station.
Two bundles of betting slips, carbon paper, P225 cash and pen were recovered from Doctora.
If found guilty by the court, Doctora faces imprisonment from eight years and one day to 10 years.
