BACOLOD City – Three drug suspects were arrested in a sting operation in Barangay Antipolo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them as 25-year-old Hazellyn de la Cruz of Barangay Canjusa, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, 20-year-old Jose Edrian Moises of Barangay Enclaro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental and 50-year-old Gerard de Ramos of Barangay Bata.
The suspects were caught inside an Isuzu Crosswind after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P15,000 around 10 p.m. on Thursday, police said.
When frisked, one more sachet of suspected illegal drugs was recovered from them. Police also impounded their car.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Pontevedra police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
