BACOLOD City – The motorcycle they were riding bumped into a bamboo barricade on the national road in Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra, Negros, Occidental, a police report showed.
Wilfredo Jonla was on board a Kawasaki Barako 175 that the 21-year-old John Paulo Cahelo was driving on March 24 when they figured in an accident, police said.
Jonla and Cahelo, residents of Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, fell off the motorcycle.
They sustained injuries on their bodies and were rushed to the Valladolid District Hospital where the attending physician pronounced Jonla “dead on arrival.”
Cahelo was currently under treatment./PN
