ILOILO City – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers in a sting operation in Barangay Nanga, Pototan, Iloilo.
The 28-year-old Jerold Octaviano and 34-year-old Joel Poticar – both residents of the village – were caught after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P1,000.
Antidrug personnel of the Pototan police station staged the buy-bust operation around 5:39 p.m. on Saturday.
When frisked, nine more sachets of the suspected drugs were recovered from Octaviano.
He and Poticar were detained in the lockup facility of municipal police station.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
